I bought a sizable piece of property on which only cows had grazed. For this property Dan designed a small complex of buildings that fit beautifully into the rural landscape. His design was very creative in terms of both concepts and materials. Dan also captured in his design the look and the feel that I had hoped for in a home. Throughout construction, Dan was attentive, often present, and always responsive to the contractor's questions when they arose. In my view, Dan's work was superb.

We 'inherited' Dan when we bought a lot on which he had designed a house for the previous lot owners. We loved the way he had sited the house, but we were looking for a Contemporary sensibility - not Tuscan. Dan did an easy pivot and created a beautiful home for us with nary an arched window. Dan was a pleasure to work with. He was great coordinating with the builder and was respectful of our budget.

Dan Curran designed and oversaw the construction of two quality custom homes for our family. Obviously we were quite impressed with his work on the first or we would not have commissioned him for the second (the first being our family home and the second our retirement home). We found Dan to be not only creative and knowledgeable but also a calm and reasonable influence during the building process. Also vital to the success of this type of relationship Dan is a good communicator. He has a knack for listening to the client regarding the "wish" list and making it not only real but so much better.
